You have been sick a lot lately.  i think the doctor is going to have to run some test on you to make sure everything is okay.  This is the 4th time you have been on antibiotics since august.  

You have just finished a bottle of medicine and your nose is already running. 

your favorite food right now is macaroni and cheese and you always get really excited when you get to have it.

you point your finger now and say "look, look."  you love to run "wild," and you love to watch Kaci and Kassie play with each other.  

you can walk really well now.  

You also get really excited when we get home from work

You have been sick this past eek.   i took you to the doctor on tuesday, he said you had a virus.  He wouldn't put you on antibiotics, i was really upset about it.  But as always, the doctor was right, a couple of days later you will be feeling back to normal. 

We have a lady come to the house now, to watch you while we work.  You seem to be getting along pretty good.

Well young lady you turned one years old yesterday.  You have the longest hair at one, then any of the other girls had.  You have been walking up a storm, and you still jump all night long.  

your sister, Kassie go second runner up in the Miss Perry Contest.  their were 14 girls in it.  

You are going to have pretty blue eyes just like your sister, Kassie. They haven't changed colors yet, so i doubt they will.  

we are going to celebrate your birthday tomorrow.  Just dad and I and the kids, each one of the kids are going to give you one toy, a piece.  

My Thoughts:  I ended up having green eyes, and that is probably why I never won a "Miss Perry contest"

You still like to jump, you have been taking a few steps. 

you are a very happy and a loving person.  Most of your time is spent in the playpen.  You also say at your babysitters while we were on vacation.  

You were really good to her.

You spend hours jumping in your bed, I think it is your favorite past time.  You are still a pretty slim little girl.  

You are very aggressive when you get around other babies even if you are the smallest one.  you love to pull hair. 

Your face lights up whenever one of your brothers or sisters come into the room.  They all just love the heck out of you

5-8-1987

You are standing up now, and walking when hanging on to something. 

you are eating Peas and Fruit.  You also say Da-Da really good and you love to spit. 

your older brother and sisters are really enjoying you now.  

you went back to your old babysitter, Barb, 2 weeks ago. I think you might have enjoyed the other place better

My Thoughts:  I wonder why my mom that it was important to mention that I like to Spit?

7 1/2 months

4-12-1987

You stand up now, you beat all the kids in standing and crawling.  

you stayed in Ames with your Aunt Jane, while we took Ricky to the State Tournament.  

you won the heart of all the college girls.  But you were really happy to get home and get in your bed. 

My Thoughts:  Go me!  hopefully Kinsey doesn't bet me.  :)

3-23-1987

You are crawling and sitting up now and you have 6 teeth.  you have been eating cereal 2 times a day now.  

you don't like your playpen very much, but you love your bed with all your heart.   I don't have a high chair for you yet, so I feed you while you are sitting in your swing.  

You like playing with Ricky and your 2 sisters.  

You go to bed at about 5 every night.  so I get a few hours to my self every night.  

5 months

2-8-1987

You are rolling all over the place now, saying DaDa and getting up on your knees rocking back and forth.  

you loved the attention you get from Rick and your sisters.  

you have a very cute smile and you smile at everyone.  you also have a very running nose.  

My Thoughts:  the post tend to get shorter now, I suppose not much happens when you are 5 months old.
