You are going to bed a little better, but they you are playing more during the day. I'll be really glad when you start watching Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers. I can't get you to sit and watch TV for any length of time.
My Thoughts: You would think my mom would be happy that I'm not watching TV, I always thought less TV made you smarter.

You went to Dr. Dawdy. He told me to move Kinsey out of your room. And buy you things like blocks or give you empty pill bottles to play with.
I told him the original reason I went to Dr. Kelly was that you were thirsty all the time. Dr. Dawdy said that kids that have behavior disorders like yours, the parents always say the kid always wants something to drink. He said he asked several doctors about this, but no one can seem to give him an answer. I told him that all your blood test were normals.
He told us to put up some kind of alarm system so we know when you come out of your room at night.
He also said when a normal kid has to be told no once, you might have to do something 4 or 5 times before you learned that you are not suppose to do something. If it takes a normal kid 20 times, it might take you 80 times. I'm in the middle of explaining this to me he turns to me and says "god, she's cute."
He had a lot of toys and you really like going there. When he started talking about going to bed, your ears perked up and you started looking at him.
We were talking about the stuff you get into and I was folding your coat and pulled out a bottle of stuff out of your pocket. That you took from grandma's house this morning.
you also like saying "me can't do, me got a headache" when I ask you to do something.
My Thoughts:
1) I know I'm cute
2) typical mom to find it more interesting to write about my bathroom habits instead of whats actaully wrong with me.
3) growing I was told that I had my own room that had an alarm on it a million times. it is probably the one thing I have consistently been told.

Dr. Salow thinks you have oppositional behavior disorder. You go back this Friday.
You have been a really busy bee here at home. You love going outside and I bet you could stay out there 10-12 hours a day, if we let you.
I'm glad we live in the country, you have room to roam all day.
My Thoughts: 10-12 hours outdoors... yeah right

Your EEG was normal, but the doctor thought you have a behavior disorder called oppositional.
Dr. Kelly just thought you were the cutest little thing. He says a person can't stay mad at you for long, because you are so cute
My Thoughts: Yeah, I know I'm cute.

Tuesday I took you to Mercy for an EEG. It took them 5 hours to get it done on you. It normally only takes them an hour. THey said you were the most stubborn child they had ever had to do an EEG on.
It took 2 nurses one on each side of you to put you asleep. We are suppose to know the result next week.
My Thoughts: There is that word Stubborn again....
ps. plot give away: i'm still alive, so no need to worry about my health. :)

You go to the Doctor today. You have been to the bathroom a lot, you always want something to drink, and you haven't been sleeping much. Yesterday you took the screen off your bedroom window and then opened the window. You have been getting into the medicine and everything else you can get your hands on. You opened a can of paint that has been in the basement for 6 years.
Your dad thinks you have a behavior disorder. I think maybe there is something medically wrong.
My Thoughts: I suppose this is the post my family has been waiting for. I guess I'm now officially weird.
But I would much rather say that I'm curious.

In some ways you have really grown up, but in others you are still a pain in the butt. If I asked you to do something aound the house you say no. You get into everything that is not locked up ot put up. You destory anything you get your hands on.
But atleast now if I take you somethere, just you and me you are good for me. That's a big plus for me.
My Thoughts: I wonder what the psychological effects on me will be after reading another 100 + post saying that i'm a "pain in the butt" and "stubborn" child. (and trust me they go into my teenage years)
